Location
Embracing 123 Schools covering all branches of science, the "Ettore Majorana" International Centre for Scientific Culture is situated in the old pre-medieval city of Erice where three restored monasteries provide an appropriate setting. These monasteries are now named after great scientists and strong Centre supporters.
Our meeting will be held at the San Domenico Monastery, which is the Patrick M.S. Blackett Institute housing the "Paul A.M. Dirac" Lecture Hall. The poster sessions are planned to be held in the coffee-break area upstairs. [The poster boards are 110 cm x 90 cm and can be rotated by 90°.]
San Domenico
The San Francesco Monastery is the Eugene P. Wigner Institute housing the "Enrico Fermi" Lecture Hall, and the San Rocco Monastery is the Isidor I. Rabi Institute housing the "Richard P. Feynman" Lecture Hall, the Directorate and the main Secretariat of the Centre.
There are living quarters in all three Institutes for people attending the Courses of the Centre.

Participants arriving at these terminals are requested to reach the Palermo airport by shuttle bus and to indicate in the Travel Form the approximate time of arrival at the airport where they will be met by the Centre.
Participants planning to rent their own car at the airport are advised to book one early in view of the hot tourist season.
Visa. If you need a visa to travel to Italy and/or an official invitation letter, please contact the organizers. The Centre can assist with invitations, but be careful to apply for visas in advance as you may encounter long processing times at Italian embassies and consulates.
Check-in. On your arrival at the reception desk you will fill out the registration form, receive your room, your folder and your EMCSC badge. The reception desk is located at the EMCSC main building (San Rocco).
After registration you should carefully read: (1) the material in the folder concerning the regulations of the EMCSC, meals, the location of restaurants working for EMCSC, etc.; (2) the specific information about your course posted in the entrance hall of San Rocco (location and starting time of lectures, program, social events, etc.).
