Getty Trip
About Getty Center The Getty Center is one of most remarkable landmarks in the greater Los Angeles area. Not only the gigantic art collection makes it to one of the leading touristic attractions, but also its astonishing architecture is world known. This beautiful site is located on the hilltop of Santa Monica Mountains between Bel Air and Brentwood. From there, you can take in prominent features of the Los Angeles landscape - the Pacific Ocean, the San Gabriel Mountains and, the vast street-grid of the city. There are many ongoing exhibitions waiting for you. You can find a list of them under: http://www.getty.edu/art/exhibitions
About this trip We will provide lunch and refreshments, so that you can enjoy many of the different fun activities the Getty offers. Admission is FREE, just $5 per car for parking. Therefore, we encourage you to carpool. An architecture tour is reserved for us and will kick off around 11:15. So, try to be on time. We will get together at the main entrance (after taking the short trip with the tram to the hilltop).
