MG.5 - DOMAINS

Small magnetic needles are placed over nails so that they are free to rotate. They are arranged between clear plexiglass plates, reproducing domains in a ferromagnetic crystal. When a bar magnet is brought near the plates, the needles move, rearranging themselves but keeping the domains.
